A little bit about Epic Church Roxborough
Epic Church Roxborough began in 2013, meeting at Roxborough High School. Then in December 2023, they moved into a beautifully renovated 150-year-old historic church, right in the heart of the Roxborough/Manayunk community.
Epic Church Roxborough serves people from all across Northwest and North Philadelphia, including Manayunk, Chestnut Hill, East Falls, West Philly, Jenkintown, and more.
Whether you’re brand new to the city, here for college, or Philly born and raised, we invite you to connect with us!
Epic Kids
BIRTH - 6TH GRADE
Epic Kids meets on Sundays during each service. You can start at the Kids Check-In station when you arrive.
Epic Kids helps children learn about Jesus on their level by providing fun, engaging, age-appropriate environments, memorable family activities, and ongoing partnership with parents.
Epic Youth
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Epic Youth meets on Sundays during the 9:00 service.
Epic Youth leads students to discover who Jesus is and what a relationship with him looks like, by providing environments that help them connect with friends, grow in faith, and make a difference through serving.
Meet the Pastor of Epic Church Roxborough
Jake Rainwater
EPIC CHURCH ROXBOROUGH LOCATION PASTOR
Jake and his wife, Alison, moved their family to Philly from Lancaster, PA in 2006. After attending Epic’s very first service in 2008, they immediately knew it would become their church home.
It wasn’t long before Jake transitioned from his career as an engineer to a pastor. There’s been a lot of changes at Epic over the years, but the constant of seeing people’s lives transformed by the love and power of Jesus never gets old.
Jake loves basketball and whatever his now adult kids are into at the time, which is often a sport of some sort.
